Boycott backfire: Wegmans stores sell out of Trump wine

The left likes to ruin everything, even a good glass of wine. Their latest failed attempt came when they demanded Wegmans stop carrying Trump wines. Laughably, the failed attempt caused the wine to sell out according to this Syracuse report.

Wegmans doubled down on their position stating we “would continue to stock products based on how well they sell, not politics.”

Finally a company with some balls…

Did a threat to boycott Wegmans over products with President Donald Trump’s name backfire?

The Rochester-based grocery store chain came under fire this week for carrying Trump wines at its 10 Virginia locations. The bottles come from the Trump Winery in Charlottesville, Va., bought by Trump in 2011 and given to his son, Eric Trump.

The National Organization for Women and other critics encouraged shoppers to take their business elsewhere, despite Wegmans’ cult following and positive reputation. “Let’s demonstrate through economic action that the residents and businesses of Charlottesville will not stand for the hatred espoused by Eric Trump and those like him,” the protest group Stop Trump Wine said.

However, the attention may have encouraged Trump supporters to buy more of the wines.

“As of late yesterday, we had sold out many varieties in our (Virginia) stores, and in some cases, all varieties,” Jo Natale, vice president of media relations for Wegmans, told the Democrat & Chronicle Friday. “For example, our two Richmond stores had completely sold out. Other stores had inventory of some varieties.”

A liquor store owner in Henrietta, N.Y., told the newspaper that he was also seeing increased demand: “Some people, sight-unseen, would just buy bottles of it.”

BOYCOTT: Here’s the full list of 97 companies that oppose Trump’s immigration BAN

[2/9/17]  Here’s  the list of 97 companies that have banded together to stop Donald Trump’s immigration ban.  According to this Yahoo report, some of the biggest name in tech have filed a legal brief hoping to stop Trump’s executive order.

In an amicus brief filed late on Sunday in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, 97 companies clearly stated their opposition to Trump’s controversial executive order, which bars refugees and valid visa holders from seven Muslim countries from entering the United States. A US District judge temporarily lifted the immigration ban late on Friday night, but Trump and his staffers have already stated their intention to fight the judge’s decision.

Apple, Google, Facebook, Spotify, Airbnb, Citrix, eBay, Etsy, Intel, Microsoft, Netflix, Snap, Twitter and Uber are just some of the high-profile companies that participated in filing the brief, the goal of which is to make clear that the technology industry and American businesses in general oppose Trump’s ban.

“Immigrants make many of the Nation’s greatest discoveries, and create some of the country’s most innovative and iconic companies,” the brief stated. “America has long recognized the importance of protecting ourselves against those who would do us harm. But it has done so while maintaining our fundamental commitment to welcoming immigrants—through increased background checks and other controls on people seeking to enter our country.”

California Conservatives go underground to conceal their political beliefs

(THOMAS DISHAW, NEWS TARGET)  The lunatic left is at it at again. California, a state that prides itself on diversity is happy to accept you if you are an atheist, gay, transgender, a Liberal, a Socialist, or a Democrat. Unfortunately, if you happen to be a Republican, a Conservative, or even worse, a Tump supporter your life may be in danger.

According to this CBS report, Bay area conservatives are scared for their lives. They have been reduced to meeting in secret locations and must lead double lives in fear that disclosing their political views will significantly diminish their safety and well-being in their community.

Robert Ward, a brave California Conservative has decided to come out and publicly share his beliefs even though he fears violent retribution will be taken against him. “Being a conservative in the Bay Area is like being a heretic, you lead a double life. You can never tell your friends and co-workers.” [RELATED: See more hidden news at

Ward went on to question Liberal ideologies that are often contradictory to their beliefs. “They seem to pride themselves on being diverse, and they are diverse about everything but their ideology,” says Ward. “I hope that in the future when people see Trump isn’t as scary as they think he is and a lot of the good things that happen and the prosperity comes back, and the jobs come back, everyone calms down a little bit.”

Being a Conservative in a Liberal state like California is risky business. Berkely just saw some of its worst riots in years as 150 masked anarchists smashed windows, started fires, beat Trump supporters and even sprayed a female in the face with mace forcing Milo Yiannopoulos to cancel his event at the Berkeley student center.

The civil unrest on the Berkeley campus resulted in $100,000 in damages, yet only one arrest.

According to the Daily Caller, the far left group ‘Refuse Fascism’ who is responsible for the Berkeley riots received a $50,000 donation from a group backed by George Soros. This should come as no surprise as Soros is responsible for a majority of the civil unrest across the world. [RELATED: Join free thinkers at

Who would have thought that “coming out” as conservative would make someone a target of so much violence and hate? The hypocrisy of the left and their constant preaching of the importance of free speech is laughable when they begin behaving like savages.

Robert should stand as an inspiration to all conservatives around the country, and we need to rally behind him and others like him. Liberals need to remember that the constitutional right of free speech is given to all, not just those who share their beliefs. Something else to remember, to quote Neal Boortz, “Free Speech is meant to protect unpopular speech, popular speech by definition needs no protection.”

Comprehensive List Of Donald Trump Executive Orders

(THOMAS DISHAW) Over the next four years (hopefully eight) we will be chronicling the executive orders of President Donald J. Trump.

As most know executive orders are a double-edged sword and can be easily be undone by the next administration, so hopefully we can find some bipartisan support over the next four years to truly make America great again.

1-January 20 2017 Executive Order Minimizing the Economic Burden of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Pending Repeal

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1.  It is the policy of my Administration to seek the prompt repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148), as amended (the “Act”).  In the meantime, pending such repeal, it is imperative for the executive branch to ensure that the law is being efficiently implemented, take all actions consistent with law to minimize the unwarranted economic and regulatory burdens of the Act, and prepare to afford the States more flexibility and control to create a more free and open healthcare market.

Sec. 2.  To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Secretary of Health and Human Services (Secretary) and the heads of all other executive departments and agencies (agencies) with authorities and responsibilities under the Act shall exercise all authority and discretion available to them to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation of any provision or requirement of the Act that would impose a fiscal burden on any State or a cost, fee, tax, penalty, or regulatory burden on individuals, families, healthcare providers, health insurers, patients, recipients of healthcare services, purchasers of health insurance, or makers of medical devices, products, or medications.

Sec. 3.  To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Secretary and the heads of all other executive departments and agencies with authorities and responsibilities under the Act, shall exercise all authority and discretion available to them to provide greater flexibility to States and cooperate with them in implementing healthcare programs.

Sec. 4.  To the maximum extent permitted by law, the head of each department or agency with responsibilities relating to healthcare or health insurance shall encourage the development of a free and open market in interstate commerce for the offering of healthcare services and health insurance, with the goal of achieving and preserving maximum options for patients and consumers.

Sec. 5.  To the extent that carrying out the directives in this order would require revision of regulations issued through notice-and-comment rulemaking, the heads of agencies shall comply with the Administrative Procedure Act and other applicable statutes in considering or promulgating such regulatory revisions.

Sec. 6.  (a)  Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

(i)   the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or

(ii)  the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(b)  This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(c)  This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Andrew Breitbart Exposed John Lewis As A Race Baiter 7 Years Ago

(THOMAS DISHAW)  To say Andrew Breitbart was ahead of his time is an understatement. The mysterious heart attack that claimed his life in 2012 ensured that he would not live to see the enormous impact he had on today’s society.

The rise of becoming a household name reaching 70 million visitors a month, to longtime friend and Breitbart founder Stephen Bannon being selected as chief strategist and Senior Counselor for President Donald Trump, and the explosive rise of James O’Keefe are all things Breitbart would be proud of.

There are many memorable moments in Breitbart’s life, some of which are showcased in this highly recommended documentary ‘Hating Breitbart’.

One of the most prolific scenes from the movie that still proves relevant today is Breitbart exposing U.S. House of Representatives John Lewis as a race baiting, political hack.  The story began when Lewis falsely proclaimed that “racist” Tea-Party activists said the ‘N” word at a Washington D.C. ‘Kill the Bill” rally which was first report by McClatchy in 2010:

Demonstrators outside the U.S. Capitol, angry over the proposed health care bill, shouted “nigger” Saturday at U.S. Rep. John Lewis, a Georgia congressman and civil rights icon who was nearly beaten to death during an Alabama march in the 1960s.

The protesters also shouted obscenities at other members of the Congressional Black Caucus, lawmakers said.

“They were shouting, sort of harassing,” Lewis said. “But, it’s okay, I’ve faced this before. It reminded me of the 60s. It was a lot of downright hate and anger and people being downright mean.”

Lewis said he was leaving the Cannon office building across from the Capitol when protesters shouted “Kill the bill, kill the bill,” Lewis said.

“I said ‘I’m for the bill, I support the bill, I’m voting for the bill’,” Lewis said.

A colleague who was accompanying Lewis said people in the crowd responded by saying “Kill the bill, then the n-word.”

“It surprised me that people are so mean and we can’t engage in a civil dialogue and debate,” Lewis said.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., said he was a few yards behind Lewis and distinctly heard “nigger.”

“It was a chorus,” Cleaver said. “In a way, I feel sorry for those people who are doing this nasty stuff – they’re being whipped up. I decided I wouldn’t be angry with any of them.”

Breitbart, who was a strong supporter of the Tea-Party movement, was so outraged by the tactics of the left that he offered a $100,000 reward for anyone who could produce a video that showed anyone in the crowd saying the “N” word.

When I offered a reward of $100,000 to be donated to the United Negro College Fund if anyone produced video and audio evidence that this occurred, I was accused of a publicity stunt (because everyone knows that the best way to get publicity in America is to accuse a civil rights icon of lying about racism). Rep. Carson himself suggested that my challenge was “a veiled attempt to justify actions that are simply unjustifiable.” Get it? He calls protesters racist and if you ask him to prove it, you’re a racist, too.

Needless to say, no one has claimed the $100,000.

But, I have taken my search one step further. I’ve asked some of the contributors to Big Government to also actively search for video. We have spent the last three weeks searching for any evidence that might support the allegations, without any help from the accusers. The primary accuser, Congressman Carson, who audaciously claimed the crowd screamed the “N-word fifteen times,” would not return our call. So we have gone part way to try and piece together the events of March 20.

Not only is the audio devoid of any racial slur, but the scene at Cannon clearly shows the congressmen coming down the steps completely unobstructed, and with a clear path to the Capitol. And, when we juxtapose the audio accusation Rep.Carson made moments after the alleged event occurred with actual video footage of the moment Rep. Carson claims he first heard the racial slur, it is as plain as day that Congressman Carson was not isolated by a mob and facing a racist throng that could conceivably hurl rocks at him. As you can see for yourself.

It should come as no surprise that the $100,000 reward offered was never claimed. Even though there were hundreds of people in the crowd with cell phones and video cameras, no one could produce a single tape proving the racial epithet was said.

Breitbart understood how the left operated.  The Tea Party was beginning to build true momentum in their movement, and he knew this was a foolish ruse to try and discredit Tea Party members as being a primarily racist organization.

John Lewis never released a statement denying the allegations, but his legacy has continued to take a beating over the years descending from being a highly respected civil rights hero to simply being a left-wing stalwart.
