Doctor on the run after 19 aborted fetuses found near hospital

Police in India discovered 19 aborted female babies abandoned near a hospital, and have launched a manhunt for the suspected doctor who has since gone missing.

According to BBC, the police were investigating the February death of a 26-year-old woman who had undergone an illegal abortion at a hospital in the city of Maharashtra. Her husband wanted the abortion after learning that she was carrying their third daughter. Though sex-selection abortions are illegal in India, many look for black market options when the mother is carrying a girl.

Villagers alerted the police after suspecting foul play in the death of the 26-year-old woman. During the investigation, the police were attempting to find the remains of the woman’s baby when they stumbled upon the 19 other fetuses. Senior police officials in Sangli district said the remains appeared to be buried with the intention of being disposed of. Police also said it seems the doctor was involved in an “abortion racket” and have arrested the husband of the missing doctor. Authorities fear there may be more aborted baby girls’ bodies that have yet to be discovered.

The news corroborates concerns that the problem of sex-selection abortions is still a substantial problem even with laws put in place to prevent these actions. Similar cases to this have been witnessed over the past few years. In 2012 eight female fetuses were found in a plastic bag near a lake in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. In 2009, 15 female fetuses were found in Maharashtra’s Beed district. Sex-selection abortions are common in nations like China and India where women often are forced by their spouse or their families to abort female unborn babies due to a cultural preference for boys.

No precise data has been produced as to why this is a cultural preference, but there is growing concern about not only the health of the mothers and the babies but also to the effect it has on the human sex ratio in countries that still practice this behavior. In China this has resulted in an overpopulation of men, meaning there are not enough women for these men to marry.  Its been speculated that approximately 30 million more men than women will reach adulthood and enter China’s mating market by 2020.  The lack of women has caused a massive spike in the kidnapping of females to be sold as brides.

Indian Government leaders are trying to discourage citizens from sex-selective abortions in many ways. Aside from making sex-selective abortions and sex-determination tests illegal, some of the nation’s leaders have also put together creative social campaigns to promote the value of girls and discourage gender discrimination.

Barclays bank goes down over the weekend, millions unable to access cash or use credit cards

A server crash on Barclays network Saturday gave many customers an unwanted glimpse into the chaotic future of a cashless, automated society. The crash left many unable to access their funds, unable to use internet or telephone banking and caused many cash machines to go down as a result of hardware failure.

Customers noted that their debit cards were declined even for small purchases like a 17p banana. Many took to social media to express frustration over the inability to withdraw money from in ATMs or be able to pay for purchases in shops and pubs around the world. Some reported being stranded because they could not access funds to buy tickets to return home. Others expressed desperation of not being able to feed themselves or their families.

Panic set in when Barclay’s admitted they had not idea how long it would take to fix the issue, even speculating that it could take until Monday. The bank released a statement saying it was “working to fix” a problem and advised customers to use other banks’ cash machines. It added that telephone banking and in-branch payments were also affected and apologized “for any inconvenience.” Barclays also reiterated the fact that no customer will lose out financially because of the hardware crash and any relevant fees would be reimbursed as soon as possible, another concern that some users called out.

There is still no word how many of Barclay’s 15 million card customers were affected by the outage. There is no doubt this experience echoes the fears and concerns many still have of completely cashless societies. Becoming dependent on cards leaves us vulnerable to situations like this. And the increase of automation results in fewer bank branches where you can go in and manually withdraw money from your account.

Globalists have indoctrinated many of us to believe that electronic currency is more convenient and easier to access than paper currency. But the advantage for cash remains that it is tangible and can be used to trade goods at face value, whereas we see in this scenario that if the value on your debit or credit card cannot be accessed, it doesn’t exist.

The bottom line is even though it is convenient both forms of payment are necessary, and card users should not become overly dependent plastic. We should all be in the habit of carrying some cash on our person at all times to avoid being completely susceptible in situations like this.

France’s Marine Le Pen refuses to wear headscarf to meet Lebanon’s Grand Mufti

Marine Le Pen, leader of France’s far-right political party Front National, abruptly canceled a meeting in Lebanon with the Grand Mufti after refusing to wear a headscarf.

Le Pen claims that before the meeting, which was scheduled for Tuesday with Sheikh Abdel-Latif Derian, she had told the cleric’s office that she was not going to wear a veil during the encounter. She received no correspondence suggesting that this would be a problem, so she planned to attend as scheduled.

“They didn’t cancel the meeting so I thought they would accept the fact that I wouldn’t wear one,” Le Pen said. “They tried to impose it upon me, make it a matter of fact. You can’t put me before a matter of fact.”

Once she arrived at the office one of Sheikh Abdel-Latif Derian’s aides handed her a white headscarf to wear. Following a discussion that lasted a few minutes, she refused and walked towards her car and left. Le Pen told the office, “You can pass on my respects to the grand mufti, but I will not cover myself up.”

Le Pen, who has based much of her campaign on pro-Christian values, should be commended for not putting her religious beliefs aside to appease the Grand Mufti. Le Pen also points out that she was not required to wear a headscarf when she had met with Egypt’s Grand Sheik of Al-Azhar, the head of the Sunni world’s most prestigious learning institute.

Aside from support from her fans for this decision, Le Pen is also receiving approval from the Vice President of the Front National Party, Florian Philippot, who tweeted, “In Lebanon, Marine refuses to wear the veil. A beautiful message of freedom and emancipation sent to women in France and the world!”

Le Pen has stated that if elected, she wants to ban headscarves from being worn in public places altogether in France. Aside from religious freedom, this is also a step in the right direction for women’s rights. Despite how liberals try to spin it, Sharia Law hurts women and does no promote freedom of thought or action. There are those who speak about women’s rights, and there are those who actually defend them, and Le Pen has proven herself a defender.

This meeting was part of a two-day tour of Lebanon where Le Pen was courting Franco-Lebanese votes ahead of the first round of French elections on April 23. Many people fled Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war and became French citizens, and still maintain the ability to vote in French elections.

One meeting that she did take was on Monday with President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Saad Hariri.  and declared that President Bashar Assad was “the only viable solution” for preventing the Islamic State from taking power in Syria. She also suggested that the best way to protect minority Christians is to “eradicate” the Islamic State group preying on them — not turn them into refugees.

Hopefully, France will follow in the footsteps of the United States and elect an outsider who fights what is truly best for French Citizens.

Sweden takes steps to establish Sharia Law, rules in favor of child marriages

A  court in Sweden has ruled in favor of a marriage between a 14-year-old Syrian Refugee and her 21-year-old husband, who is also her cousin. The court made the ruling on the basis that the teenager appears to be “mature,” as well as for religious and cultural reasons.

According to the website Speisa, the girl was married off to her cousin when she was 12-years-old in their home country. The couple was seeking asylum and were sent to live with the girls’ Aunt and her family in Sweden. In addition to being underage, the teenager is now pregnant.

Social service authorities in Sweden became involved because of how young the teenager is and thought the marriage was completely outrageous, so they decided the logical step would be to take it to the justice system. The judge presiding over the case, however, did not share the same outrage as the social service authorities and did not feel any crime had been committed since the couple was raised with different religious and cultural perceptions of morality. The court also found the 14-year-old girl to have “matured” earlier and therefore could see no wrong doing.

There has been an ongoing issue in European countries like Sweden and Germany that have seen an influx of immigrants. Many courts are not sure how to proceed in certain situations due to cultural differences, and more often than not, they end up siding with the refugees in an effort not to offend anyone.

An eerily similar case was ruled on in Germany where a 14-year-old teenager married her 20-year-old cousin. A regional German court ruled to recognize the marriage as valid despite the legal age in Germany to marry being set at 16.

Per Breitbart, among the hundreds of thousands of migrants arriving in European countries, there are a number of underage wives, some as young as eleven, some already mothers. Although most European countries stipulate that a girl must be 16 to marry, the authorities seem unsure what to do with young bride migrants.

There are no official figures on the number of child bride migrants living in Europe, but the number is thought to be in the hundreds. Although in some cases the girls have been separated from their husbands and placed in child protection facilities, in others, the authorities have been content to let them remain with their husbands for fear of traumatizing them.

Aside from the pedophilia, there are two huge negative implications on the justice system this ruling will have. First, these decisions mean Sweden and Germany now approve of Sharia law and may set a precedent for further introduction of Sharia law in the country. That means cases of slavery, mercy killings, and rape, all of which are approved of in some form in Sharia Law, could come before the court and be justified based on this precedent.

The other issue comes from native citizens of these countries being told that certain laws now do not apply to people allowed to live in their country. “It is a good legislation which has made it clear that child marriage is not allowed in Sweden,” says Aleksander Gabelic, chairman of the Swedish UN Association, to Aftonbladet. He is critical of the authorities’ actions in this case which he says discriminates between people and nations. “It’s remarkable that one can have different laws for native Swedes and those who come here from another country,” he says.

So the question must be asked if immigrants are given asylum should they not be required to adhere to the laws of that country for the greater good of society? Most refugees seek asylum because the laws they had in their homeland caused their Country to deteriorate over the years. Now they want to escape only to establish those same horrible laws in a new Country? These court rulings have created a slippery slope of morality and religion versus law.

Greek bank runs start again….$3.2 billion withdrawn since the start of the year

With capital controls already in place Greece has managed to create another bank run. According to DW $3.2 Billion has been withdrawn since the first of they year.

Greek citizens had withdrawn close to 3 billion euros ($3.2 billion) since the beginning of the year, the Union of Greek Banks reported Friday.

The English-language news blog “keeptalkinggreece” spoke of a new bank run limited only by the capital controls currently in place. It noted that delays in the talks between Greece and its lenders had brought back the ghost of Grexit,” referring to the southern European nation’s possible exit from the eurozone.

The website said 2.5 billion euros had been withdrawn from private bank accounts over the past 45 days alone, “and this despite capital controls that allow Greeks to withdraw a maximum of just 1,800 euros per month.

Will Venezuelan’s resort to Cannibalism if they can’t find food?

(THOMAS DISHAW)  Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? But if things don’t change Venezuelans may resort to cannibalism in an effort to survive.

It is no secret that Venezuela is a desperate, starving nation. Children are passing out in classrooms. Newborns are dying from malnutrition and parents are giving away their kids all due to hunger.

The average minimum wage in Venezuela is $13.50 a month in USD, while the average cost for a fast food combo meal is $30.00 in USD. The Military controls the food supply leaving grocery shelves mostly empty, and basic staples are in short supply. Armed troops persuade business owners to give 80% discounts to “stimulate” the economy.

Inflation has skyrocketed to 800% putting basic goods out of reach for most people. The country took another major hit when the oppressive Maduro regime banned its biggest bill, the 100-bolivar, worth only .03 cents USD. Venezuela is a poor example of socialism but an excellent example of a dictatorship. Just for the record, I’m a fan of neither.

With all of these hardships mounting against suffering Venezuelans, some speculate that cannibalism may ensue as a way to fight starvation.

North Koreans experienced similar economic strife, and reports of cannibalism began to surface. In an article published by the Express, “Fears of cannibalism in the country surfaced in 2003, amid testimony from refugees who claimed poor harvests and food aid sanctions had resulted in children being killed and corpses cut up for food.”

Last year it was reported that desperate Venezuelans were breaking into Zoo’s to kill and eat the animals due to starvation. There have also been cases of people eating endangered animals like Flamingos and anteaters for the same purpose. When all the animals are eaten, the next logical step would be for cannibalism to start taking place. As Dave Hodges puts it “humans historically have preyed upon each other when there is no food left to procure.”
